This medium-sized city, with a population of about 25,000, offers residents and visitors a new website with a wide range of services.

City of Verl - All Information in One Place on a Single Website

When redesigning the website, it was clear from the start that all information for residents and visitors to the city should be consolidated on a single website. Users can get an initial overview right on the home page, where an embedded promotional video showcases the city’s diverse offerings. The website includes the following services:

City Council Information System (based on the OPARL interface)
Citizen Information System (based on citko Bürger)
Events (from the Events3 system)
Job Postings (from the Coveto system)

The website offers comprehensive information on topics such as business, apprenticeships, construction and housing, schools, daycare centers, etc. The website was designed to be as accessible as possible.

The website’s concept and design were created by deteringdesign. The technical implementation based on TYPO3 and the interface programming were carried out by cytrus GmbH.
